Birthday Outfit of the Day/ OOTD

Birthday Outfit of the Day
OOTD

On Friday 18th April it was my 19th Birthday. I had been given the opportunity to have the day off work and I jumped at the chance. The day was so beautiful and sunny that I thought I would share with you the outfit of my choice!

This beautiful denim dress is from Primark and I got it last summer. I love wearing denim dresses during the spring and summer as I feel they can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I paired this dress with these super cute tights which have the effect of socks over the top! I am unsure where these are from as they were a gift from my mum, I did, however, end up removing them as we sat outside for the remainder of the day enjoying the sun.

I added a cream cardigan whilst inside as surprisingly my house was colder than outside! I also chose this statement necklace to enhance the look; this necklace was from Primark and an absolute steal at only £4.

Finally I added a small belt, also from Primark and a pair of brogues!

Get Ready with Me / Featuring the New L’Oreal Infallible Foundation!

Get Ready with Me / Featuring the New L’Oreal Infallible Foundation!

Hey, Everyone! In this video watch as I get ready using the new L’Oreal Infallible Foundation. At first I was not too impressed by this foundation, however, as I continued to use it I soon began to really like it. I have extremely pale skin so finding a very light foundation in the drugstore is always  a battle. However, this is in the shade Porecelain and I feel matches my skin tone very well. Only, time will tell if I continue to like it!

Products I used:
Benefit's POREfessional Primer
Number 17 Metallic Eyes in Nude Bronze
L'Oreal's Infallible Foundation  in the colour Porcelain
Collections Lasting Perfection Concealer in the Colour Fair
NYC Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder
Hoola Bronzer by Benefit
Revlon's Highlighting Palette in the colour Bronze Glow
Rimmel London's Lip Liner in Black Tulip
Revlon's Lacquer Balm in Vivacious
Benefits Instant Brow Pencil in Medium

March Favourites

March Favourites

I am slightly late for my March Favourites but better late than never. March may be 9 days behind us but there were things I had been liking that I wanted to share with you all!

1.     At the top is definitely my bioderma micellar water solution. I use this both day and night, I like to use it after I have washed my face to ensure I have removed all my make-up. It gets deep into my pores to remove any excess make up or dirt.

2.   Lush Mask of Magnaminty, I have only used this mask a few times this month but am already loving it. It claims to help fight against blemishes on both your face and back. I have not been using it long enough but will keep you posted on the results.

3.   Lush Roots hair treatment – once again I have only used this product a few times. I massage it onto my scalp before washing my hair. It makes it so silky smooth and also creates lots of volume!

4.  NYC smooth skin setting powder.

Powder along with foundation are my two nemesis’. I find it extremely hard to find either of these products which I truly love. I used to use the NYC smooth skin loose face powder all of the time and it was a common favourite of mine last summer and can be seen featured in a few blog posts. I re-found this in my drawer and remembered how much I loved it! Now it is a constant feature in my make-up bag!

5.   Revlon Highlighting palette in Bronze Glow, this palette is so beautiful and adds a new dimension to the face. The colours are so complimenting to the face.

6.   My next favourite of the month is the Revlon Colour Burst Lacquer Balm in the colour Vivacious. The colour is so bright and looks amazing with a neutral eye colour.

7.    My final Random favourite is Matilda by Roald Dahl. I absolutely love all books by Roald Dahl but this is definitely my favourite. It’s a heart-warming tale about a little girl having growing up too fast surrounded by parents who cannot see her. Never read it? Only seen the film? Read it! Trust me you will love it.

The Little A-line Dress

The Little A-line Dress

I recently picked this dress up in Primark. The a line dress has been in fashion for a while now and flatters any body shape. I love this dress in particular as it can be worn both casual, by wearing a pair of converses or brogues, or can be dressed up with a statement necklace, black tights and a pair of wedges. The texture of the dress also adds another dimension of the dress making it stray away from your boring classic ivory dress.

What is your favourite type of dress?

This dress will be featured in my new youtube look book video going up very soon!
