Octobers Birchbox is sleek and beautiful in a simple and elegant way. The one flush colour on the box makes me think of higher end make up. The Back to Basics theme of this box is highlighted through the colours and also the products inside.
The first and only make up item in the box is the Fat Liquid Eyeliner in Black form Eyeko, I have use a few pencil liners from Eyeko before and I love the pigmentation of them. This liner is very black and very pigmented, it also claims to be smudge-proof and super-intense – I look forward to putting this to the test.
The next product is the Dry Fast Top Coat from the brand Seche Vite – I have not heard of this brand before but any nail product that claims to be fast drying is perfect for me, as I can get impatient waiting for my nails to dry!
My favourite product from the box is a mini of the Biodrema, although this product is something I use on a daily basis, there is something about it in mini form that I love! So cute!
A product I am a bit unsure about is the Regenerate Enamel Science Advanced Toothpaste – I am always a bit wary when trying a new toothpaste, partly because of my sensitive teeth but also 9 times out of 10 they do not make my teeth whiter. But we will see!
The final two products are haircare, not my favourite thing to receive, but I am happy that this time I received a Shampoo and a Conditioner as normally we only get a shampoo in the box. These are from Beaver Professional, another brand I haven't heard from, and it's the Hydro Nutritive Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner. It claims to use natural benefits to repair locks.
Overalls, I am slightly indecisive about the box. I have varying opinions but I look forward to trying the products and seeing if they will change them!
