A Wonderful Time of the Year: What I Got For Christmas
Christmas is most definitely my favourite time of the year, it shows us surrounded by wonerderful lights and decorations. The shops are filled with wonderful gift sets and bargain offers that you just cannot walk pass.
I thought it would be a lovely idea to show you a few of my favourite pieces I got for Christmas.
Firstly, I was very lucky to receive many new MAC pieces. I was able to get two of the Christmas edition sets, the first being the Mineralise Brush set, which comes with four individual brushes to the highest quality. The second is the smokey eye bag, it comes with two of the extra dimension eye shadows, the Powerpoint Eye Pencil and the In Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara. Other Mac products I received was the ever trusty Studio Fix Foundation, Pro Longwear Concealer, Studio Fix Powder Foundation and Matte Lipstick in the colour ‘Chilli’
I then also got the Naked 2 Basic’s palette by Urban Decay. It comes with 6 matte shades and is absolutely beautiful!
I receive two perfumes this chrismtas, the first being Premiere luxe by Avon which I am going to use as my day time scent and then also Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs, this is my second bottle of this perfume. It is by far my favourite perfume but according to my sister I wear it too much and need to start saving it for when I go out. I have three Marc Jacobs perfumes and I absolutely love them!
Dressing gown from Jasper Conran, which is unbelievably soft and such a lovely piece to wear around the house. A Scarf by Mantaray at Debenhams, the style of the scarf is completely me. I love any tartan design and I had been after a scarf in these particular colours for such a long time. Coat by F&F from Tesco: I absolutely love this coat, the red really brings out the colour of my eyes and hair and I believe it suits my complexion so well. My sister and I have an unspoken tradition that each year she buys me a new coat for Christmas, so I can always rely on her to find me the perfect coat.
Whilst I am so grateful and blessed to have received all I did, my favourite Christmas gift by far would definitely have to be tickets to see WICKED! I literally cannot contain my excitement about this gift!!! I have wanted to see this musical for such a long time (11 years to be precise). I love going to see musicals, I saw Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera in the West End last summer and I absolutely loved every single hair-raising second of it. Be sure to look of for a blog post in February all about Wicked!!!!
What did you get for Christmas? Anything particularly special?
