Make-Up Revolution Contour Kit Review
After the Boxing Day sales, my mum and I ventured into Superdrug. They were selling all of their gift sets at rock bottom prices so we had a little rummage to see what we could find. I love testing out different contour kits to see which ones are good and which ones are not.
They had the perfect contour kit that came with three brushes, a massive bronzer and then the contour palette. The palette consists of the bronzer, a blusher and a highlighter shade. I tried the product a few times and have absolutely loved it. The contour shade is matte and has no shine, I apply it with my Real Techniques Contour Brush into the hollows of my cheek, forehead and under my jaw. I was surprised at how well the product blends and does not leave any streaky patches on my face, it creates the perfect definition for any type of make up look. It can be blended out for a very natural look or you can create a harsher contour for a more sculpted look.
The blush is a deep rose shade that is not too dark at all. Much like the contour shade it blends very well and only a small amount of product is needed to create a great look. All of the shades are very creamy and do not leave any residue in the pan after swiping a brush over them – something I have seen in the more affordable brands. The final shade is the highlighter, this is once again matte so does not leave your face looking shiny but instead can be used to enhance the high points of the face. I like to use it under the eyes and down the bridge of my nose.
Overall I am very impressed with this palette and at the bargain price I got it for I would say it is definitely worth it. It is slim and compact, perfect for travelling with or chucking into your handbag!
