April's 'Royally Good' Birchbox

After last months Birchbox, which was slightly disappointing I was really looking forward to this months. The prospect of receiving a few Laura Mercier products was extremely exciting! You got to pick between three products, I opted for the Primer but unfortunately they had run out, however, they stated that because I couldn’t get the option I wanted they would put the two other samples in my box this month! Hurrah.

Opening the packaging I was thoroughly happy to see the colours and packaging of the box. It's lovely and pink, perfect for the spring and has a lot of birds covering the lid. The box is also labelled ‘Royally Good’ and deary me is it! Opening the box I am happy to see the little pouch that contains all of the products as last months box was lacking in it, I love these pouches as I think they would be perfect for travelling with things such as jewellery.
As usual we have the lovely postcards, the info card tells us they have the Royal baby #2 fever which is what this box has been dedicated towards, some boxes will be pink and others will be blue. The postcards are as always beautiful with little hints and tips on each.

Now onto the products, the first thing I see is a Percy & Reed hair product. It is the ‘Smooth, Sealed & Sensational Volumising No Oil, Oil’ – not that I need any volume in my hair as it is big and thick enough already. However, I have heard many good things about these ‘no oil’ oils and am really looking forward to putting it to the test.

The next product is a birch box exclusive and it is the Lola Barcelona Nail polish in the colour Garcia. It is a beautiful hot pink and I am really looking forward to testing the staying power of the polish – it's especially perfect for my upcoming holiday!

Next is the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, it came beautifully wrapped and also contained a muslin cloth, I actually own this product and absolutely love it! It leaves my face feeling silky smooth and also thoroughly nourished.

I also received the Pommade Divine ‘Natures Remedy Balm’ it claims to be 97% natural and helps to repair and nourish troublesome areas in a flash. I can get very dry lips and hopefully it will help with this problem. I also get dry patches on my forehead so I am looking forward to see if this helps with this.

The final two beauty items are from Laura Mercier and they are the ‘Longwear Crème Eye Pencil’ in the colour Violet, it is a very lovely intense colour and I have used it a few times along my lower lash line and love the effect. The second Laura Mercia product is the Volume Supreme mascara, however I am slightly disappointed in this product as it is a brown mascara instead of a black one which I would normally opt for.

The final thing that came in the box is the Inner Me ‘Energise Me’ vitamins, stating they are to help with good health. The pack contains 4 weeks worth for you to be able to put the vitamins to the test.

Did you receive a Birchbox this month? If so what was your favourite product?
