It’s a Review at Last!!!

I have finally started to write my review...as I type I'm letting my nails dry and am drinking refreshing orange juice, aren't I healthy ;). So! My review will be on the following products... Benefit She's So Jetset Kit (Mainly the POREfessional and They're Real mascara).

I got this set for Christmas from my lovely boyfriend, each year we go shopping for Christmas presents together and then have one which is a surprise present. He completely showed me up by buying me this kit when I told him over and over again not to get it as it costs too much and he told me that he wasn’t going to get anything from Benefit as it was too expensive. He looked completely sincere whilst saying this. So, I did not expect to open this on Christmas day and his surprise present from me was a coat... Great. Thanks again Pete ;)

I love this kit because it has all of your essential needs, expect for foundation! I did not use the POREfessional Primer for a quite a while as to be honest with you I had no idea what it was. It does not say on the leaflet or on the product itself that it is a primer so I was kind of confused with what it was. I did however, search online (googled it ;)) to see what it was. When I found that it was a Primer I instantly knew that I wanted to try it, and try it I did. It claims that it will minimise the appearance of your pores, now I can't really say that I believe it did this for me as I still felt that you could really see them and it didn't minimise the redness around my pores. I do believe however, that it is a great Primer that really does make my make-up stay put on my face for hours!!!!

It has a silky feel to it and does not leave my face shiny or tacky; it makes it really easy to put the rest of my make up onto my face after I apply this product as it makes me have a smooth area to put my foundation and concealer onto.

The next part of this kit is the eye-shadows; the thing I love about this set is that it has a plastic film over the top which can be removed and easily put back on, on this film it tells you the names of each of the eye-shadows and also what the powder is for.

The eye-shadows are beautiful colours of browns and I feel that these colours compliment my eyes a lot as I do not really like black smokey eyes as I feel they make me look plain silly! It comes with an applicator but I don’t like those types of ones so I use my own eye-shadow brushes but the brush itself is cute because it is silver and has the Benefit logo along it... cute!

Pic of me using the eye-shadows in a brown smokey eye look :)

Next is the powder, now it says that it is a face powder, but I can't really see how that would be the case as one side is kind of a face colour and the other is a blush colour. So because of that I haven’t really used it that much but I have used the blush once or twice and it is a super cute colour. It's not too bright and it has a matte finish which I find is always flattering on my skin :)

Next comes the lip gloss, now I am just going to get this out there normally I really do not like lip gloss as my hair sticks to it and makes it look super unpretty and I end up making the worlds strangest faces trying to get it off my lips (we've all done it)... So I have tried this once and I have to say that I really like it... when you are putting it on you would think that it is going to be super sticky considering how it is has quite a thick consistency, but I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it. It's a really light pink colour and comes out onto the lips quite sheer but you can still see a slight hint of colour which I think is loverly ;)

FINALLY, 'They're Real' Mascara... I love it. That’s it plain and simple... No seriously, it is such as good mascara, it separates my lashes and also volumises them, which can be a difficult thing to find in a mascara as generally they either separate or volumes and can sometimes be rather clumpy, which we all know ain't a good thing! I do use this with another mascara just because it is what I like to do but it would defiantly work fine on its own. The only thing that lets this product down is the price for the full side product, but considering it is a high end piece of make-up you do get what you pay for :)

That’s it! I hope you enjoyed my opinion on this set, if you have got it or some of these products tell me what you think! Also, tell me what is your favourite Benefit product? If you have any questions about these products or anything at all don’t hesitate to ask as I will answer :)
